Dick is a founding member of The Wellstone Group and has worked in the financial management field since 1987. Dick oversees all insurance related activities and is a long term care insurance specialist.

Dick completed his Bachelor of Theology studies at L.I.F.E. Bible College and prior to entering the financial management field, spent eleven years providing financial and administrative oversight to pastors pioneering churches throughout the Northwest.

Dick is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, a Registered Representative with Crown Capital Securities, L.P. and holds Series 6 and 63 licenses. He also maintains Life, Health and Variable Annuity licenses in multiple states.

In 2005 Dick recognized the growing number of issues faced by an aging population and began pursuing relationships with other professionals who provide for the unique needs of seniors and those who care about them. Collectively these independent professionals provide a quality resource of senior services within the Greater Portland area.

Born in Los Angeles, Dick has called Oregon home since 1969. Dick and his wife Edie have been married since 1980 and have three grown children; Tim, Karen and Kimberly as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren whom they greatly enjoy spending time with. Dick and Edie attend Beaverton Foursquare Church where they enjoy being involved in worship and ministry.

Dick is an avid history buff with a 50+ year passion for all things Abraham Lincoln. He has a large collection of Lincoln books as well as books on Marcus and Narcissa Whitman, early missionary pioneers in the Northwest, who Dick happens to be related to and, in his research, discovered that the Whitman family is in turn related to the Lincoln family - a history buffs delight! Dick also enjoys reading and gardening.
