Dave is a founding member of The Wellstone Group and Senior Advisor. He has worked extensively in the field of financial management since 1990. His responsibilities include oversight of the firm's planning team, meeting with clients to create and monitor their financial plan, and managing portfolios.

A native Oregonian, Dave attended Portland State University before embarking on a 30 year career with Tektronix where he was involved in manufacturing management, specializing in manufacturing efficiency and quality control systems design. Dave's entrepreneurial spirit has resulted in ownership interest in a number of small businesses throughout his career. A long standing interest in finances and investing, coupled with his desire to serve people, led him to the financial management field.

Dave is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Crown Capital Securities, L.P. and holds Series 6, 22, 62, 63, and 65 licenses. He also maintains Life, Health and Variable Annuity licenses in multiple states.

Dave and his wife Sharin have been married since 1958 and have three daughters, Karri, Kristi and Michele, and five grandchildren. Dave and Sharin attend Greater Portland Bible Church.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys reading, hiking, outdoor activities, traveling and antiques.
